Destinations

Embrace the art of seasonal travel. Switch to unveil curated escapes designed for winter wonder or summer sophistication.

Summertime in the Mediterranean Nothing quite like it. Europeans have flocked to the Mediterranean for centuries in search of art and culture, rest, recreation and, most of all, a sublime summer climate. It has had plenty of time to perfect its charms.

No one ever tires of its lifestyle, its gastronomy, its delightful mingling of ancient and modern, of sophistication and natural wonders.

Unwind in a laid-back villa on a Greek island, sail around the Balearics or bliss out in a five-star extravaganza on the Côte d’Azur – you can trust us to create an itinerary that reflects your preferences and even takes you one stage further.

Le Suivant will advise you on the Mediterranean’s top resorts, as well as lesser-known but equally special places.

France and Italy

The West Mediterranean is blessed. Its natural beauty alongside villages and towns that have had time to create their own unique characters results in a thousand miles of irresistible charm and choice. Add in art, history and a well-deserved reputation for style and taste and it is easy to see why the West Med has no rival as the world’s favourite summer holiday location.

Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and the islands of Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily know how to turn it on, to provide every aspect of a life well lived. Champagne celebrations at a Riviera beach club, shopping in best-of-the-best Monte Carlo, watching the Amalfi Coast pass by from the deck of a superyacht, or dining in the gardens of a Michelin-star restaurant in Mallorca. The allure is enduring.

Spain and Portugal

The Iberian Mediterranean, where people work to live not live to work. Spain and Portugal have the longest summer in the Mediterranean. Clear sunny days from spring through summer into late autumn.

The Balearic Islands still have some traces of the barefoot bohemian soul that attracted hippies and artists in the sixties. But these days Mallorca and Ibiza are much more sophisticated with a concentration of Michelin-quality dining, wellness spas and beach clubs.

Portugal is having a moment. Lisbon has become a leading centre for tech start-ups. With its Atlantic views and cosmopolitan lifestyle, the beautiful old city has been recently voted one of the best places to live in Europe.

East Mediterranean

Some people think this is where culture was first created by Greeks, Romans and Ottomans. With hundreds of islands and breathtaking scenery, you can choose from chic rustic comfort or modern resort. Stay in one favourite or charter a yacht to island-hop.

Don’t forget the mountainous interiors of Greece and Croatia, a cool retreat in the heat. And in Greece there are many archaeological wonders to be found off the beaten path, as well as the major ancient ruins of Olympus, Delphi, Sparta and the Acropolis in Athens.

The East Mediterranean is a place of discovery. Nowhere more so than once-mysterious Montenegro, which has been transformed from a land of sleepy villages to the latest destination of choice with cool superyacht-filled Porto Montenegro and elegant Tivat.

Winter isn’t for everyone and thankfully, as the northern hemisphere enjoys the slopes, the southern basks in beautiful summer sun.

Tropical islands, coral reefs and warm azure blue sea await. Take a wellness retreat, explore an archipelago or just relax on pristine beaches far from the crowds. From pearl like atolls surrounded by seemingly endless miles of ocean, to ultra eco volcanic islets covered in untouched forest, Le Suivant offers the very best of winter – for those who prefer it warm.

Anguilla

Just 30 miles from St Barths, Anguilla is totally different in just about every way. With (some say) the best beaches in the whole of the Caribbean, the island has a laid-back vibe.

That being said, it also has four exceptionally good resorts. We will advise about the specific differences and advantages of each.

St Barths

A tiny island that serves Caribbean cool with a French accent. Around the perimeter are dreamy picturesque beaches and a dazzling array of resort hotels each trying to outdo its neighbour. The result is an exceptional choice for guests.

Shopping is chic, nightlife is vibrant, dining is a menu of myriad cuisines. St Barths is the social centre of the Caribbean and has much in common with its Côte d’Azur twin, St Tropez.

Maldives

Maldives is renowned for its string of tropical islands with overwater spa resorts from the world’s finest brands. The atolls are coral reefs, home to a thousand species of fish including manta rays and whale sharks. This is one of the finest scuba diving sites in the world.

Some extraordinary structures have been built here: shell-shaped hotels, a planetarium, glass-floored lounges and a leaning tower spa and dining terrace. Each resort has its best-of-all features, Le Suivant is your guide.

The Seychelles

Totally unlike the Maldives, the Seychelles has towering mountains and lush rainforests teeming with wildlife. Some of the islands have nature reserves to protect creatures ranging from the Aldabra giant tortoise through to blacktip sharks.

The Creole culture and cuisine is exotic, the atmosphere charged with excitable locals and each island lays claim to having the world’s finest beach. There is only one way to find out and decide for yourself.

The unusual

Off the beaten track and far outside the world’s most popular destinations there is a set of resorts that deliver a level of excellence that raises the above their locations – beautiful though they are.

From delicate atolls in the heart of the Pacific, to the exotic volcanic coast of Panama and the magical allure of Madagascar, Le Suivant is dedicated to offering you the unique and the unusual.
